Ian Malone

Ian is the Managing Editor for the Observer, having served for a year and a half in the Opinions section. Ian enjoys writing and has been doing it recreationally since he was 12. Ian is proud of his mixed Canadian/American blood and believes strongly in conservatism and the Catholic Church. Ian would prefer to have been raised by an Indian tribe like Daniel Day Lewis in Last of the Mohicans but he is content with the cards that he’s been dealt. Ian enjoys leisure time more than the average person and wastes most of his time drinking coffee and watching television. Ian dresses nicely for class and does not like to sit next to people in sweatpants who smell like a Grand Central Station washroom. He has an affinity for breakfast for dinner, 1980s coming of age films, Canadian women, and hunting. Watergate did not bother Ian, does your conscience bother you? Ian is on the BC Water Polo team even though he does not like exercise. Ian is also an actor and would like you to contact him if you know of any good gigs. He also plays bass but he’s not very good. Ian is also single and if you like any of the things he likes you should give him a call.
